Hi
TLDR; Standalone exe exceeds the 2gb limit, but the file should be nowhere near that large. Cant figure out why.
I’ve got a reoccurring issue of my standalone exe export exceeding the 2gb limit for files that should be nowhere close to that size. So far I’ve had four 150-400m2 detached dwellings each come up with this error. Considering I had 10 ~130m2 detached dwellings fully furnished and landscaped in one file come out as as 223mb file, I’m taking a wild stab in the dark and saying something isn’t quite right.
All files have been old models that I’m importing into a newer master-file that contains our new families. So they can be exported as standalones and used as examples for clients. The first one exported properly and still does. Its come out as a 292MB file. The next two Revit files are roughly the same size as the first one, but both get the following error message
"error exporting standalone
one or more errors has occured"
Support has told me the logs come up with the error
“ERROR: Compressed data exceeds 2GB (2.294GB)”
I then proceeded to do the 4th in the same file as the first, and after updating families and setting up the landscape it exported as it should (348MB file). However after detailing the interior this one also gets the same error message. Same goes with the 5th.
Any ideas as to what I could try? The only thing I can think of having done differently is adding a longer video file to an animated TV, but even after deleting it and purging the file it still wont export.
I’m quite lost, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
