This happen to anyone else?..sometimes when I try to export an object as a vray proxy the entire right side window quickly flashes and max freezes up. I’m using max 7 and vray 1.5.
What are your proxy export options? I don’t think this has been reported so far, but maybe someone else can also comment.

Do not do anything special. Though, when it happens, it seems to happen after I have attached other objects under the edit mesh modifier to have one object with sub-materials. (though it does not always happen in this case). Then, I right click on object, choose vray mesh export, choose location, and click on automatically create proxies. That is it!
