C&C are welcome..
I’m encountering some problems on sun adjustments.
Right now the render was look like burned.
Any suggestions how to adjust the settings in this case?
Thanks.
ps: this is not done yet.

Re: Exterior trial
Try leaving the sun multiplier at default (1), lower camera exposure (whatever shutter speed you are using - half it or half it again.
Also make sure ‘gamma correction output’ is set to 2.2.
Before saving the render adjust the levels in the render to achieve a balanced lighting level. Finally adjust contrast levels in PS.
Hope this helps.

Re: Exterior trial
great stuff
for the first one, its hard to tell what is going on at this resolution but a nice composition.
the second ones look great
Re: Exterior trial
shuter speed i need to double
, if more then less “power” of light get into lens , first settings :
shuter speed 30 , f-number 8 , sun multiplier set to 0.1
- overburned
no i set shuter speed at 80 and f-number at 15 and sun at 0.5 and its good , as i see i not worth to use use without physical camer - only with that its ieasy to set sun
i will post tomorrow few renders to se settings
Re: Exterior trial
I don’t want to put big size meal here to post my image bro.. :![]()
So I reduced it.
Thanks for C&C..
Re: Exterior trial
this is vis wiht setting i wrote up + some ps and reduce bightnes i think its now ok , its sometimes hard to get good valu of light with all settings ;]
still worked out version with few roofs
Re: Exterior trial
wookie85 - ooops, yes, I should have said double/double again, the shutter speed.
With your latest, I think you need either a black background or some sort of aerial shot - the ‘sky’ doesn’t look right, certainly not with the ‘sun’ in the backround.
ckosio - it was you that I was actually trying to help (with the shutter speed) with the burn out in your image.
(Its confusing with two threads in one!!)

Re: Exterior trial
wookie85
I know what you mean. You need an aerial shot similar to TOM’s
Here is a very interesting site showing how to create just what you need using Google Earth

Re: Exterior trial
David,
Thanks for help. I can’t still get it right.
I can’t find sun multiplier.
Am I using right version of v-ray?
I know GI then the “m” thing. Actually I read the whole tutorials.
I don’t know what will be a good settings for afternoon time render.
Thanks. ;D
Re: Exterior trial
yes GI then m then choos for right list sun and then all set you will see
i cant get “some” view beceause this building will stand in some already choosen location ;] and i cant do any photo to match with such “bird” perspective , no big building neer by to make photo for the roof for ex. ![]()
