Hi Guys, I was considering one of these external GPU expansion kits to basically run 4 GPU’s out of one Mboard 16x PCIE slot with a splitter. Just wondering if there would be bottlenecks with data flow out of one slot in this way?
if not, it just made an upgrade a lot cheaper :slight_smile:

Usually V-Ray GPU is not very dependant on the PCIe speed, especially for production setups (high rays per pixel / ray bundle size).
But we haven’t tested that and we can’t tell for sure.
