Corona had released a Fabric Material in Corona 14, its really neat and it will be very helpful to have it in V-Ray too. Please consider to integrate in next update.

Hi guys, just checking on this one. What is it about the Corona fabric that works so well for you? I’m also curious if there’s something you need that you aren’t seeing in our Cosmos collection, whether that’s high-end Scanned materials or just basic fabrics with bump.

Scanned materials don’t work in Vantage, our workflow tends to use Vantage as a “IPR” and Vray for “final” renderings. We avoid scanned materials because of this.

What if we can provide a converted version of the Scanned materials as regular materials from Cosmos? Or if we can figure out how to convert them to VRayMtl with slight differences only for the use of Vantage? Would this solve the problem?

A V-Ray Material conversion would work best for me. However, I’d like to avoid additional clutter in the Cosmos browser, as I don’t use scanned materials and wouldn’t want both scanned and look‑alike vray material versions displayed.
Separately, it would be great if Cosmos could remember preferences (such as hiding scanned materials between sessions.)
That said, a dedicated V-Ray Fabric material may still be a better option in some cases, provided it works in Vantage at launch.
