WIBU Key is working, VRLService and Spawner are running, but somehow “Could not obtain license (-200); The Chaosgroup License Server could not be reached.”
Never had this kind of failure before.
Do you get this error on the local machine or on a remote render node? Error (-200) usually indicates a problem with the connection to the license server. You can check:
- If your license settings are correct - Chaos Docs
- If there is a firewall blocking incoming or outgoing traffic on TCP port 30304 on the license server computer or on a remote render node.
- If you can see your licenses listed when you navigate to http://localhost:30304 on the license server computer.
I’m just using one computer.
- Settings are correct. In addition to 127.0.0.1, I also tried putting: “localhost,” “225.225.225.0,” “10.0.0.1,” and “10.0.0.46” in there.
- I looked at my firewall. I don’t see vrol.exe in the list, but when I try to add it I get a message saying it’s already there. ?? And I see that VRLService Module is set to public. I’m not sure what other firewall things I need to look into, if that’s the problem.
- localhost 30304 cannot be reached.
