The feature request in forum is locked to new topics.
It is not really a feature request, more an existing feature modification request.
The Pivot Placer popup would be easyer / faster to use if ypou could replace dropdown list by check / radio buttons
As we often use “center” for X & Y, and “minimum” for Z, it is long to select in lists…
Please see the small montage i’ve done in attached picture.
I think this one is quite simple to code, and will save lot of time for users.
If it’s any help, I use the SiNi software version of this (comes free when you install it, no purchase required), it’s a bit more logical in it’s efficiency.
For what you need Ill recommend to publish into Ideas Portal
Have you tried “Transform toolbox”
Its a 3ds Max tool, Ive never seen many people use it, it has a some very handy tools and very simple to use.
If youre interested Im attaching a simple script that place pivot into Base and Top of the object, since theres a “Center Pivot” that you can assign into keyboard shoprtcut
