Feature request - unified navigation

Hi all,

Currently hopping between Sketchup, 3DS max, Enscape, Anima & vantage… Trying to remember all of the different ways of navigating viewports these days is a nightmare.

I appreciate Chaos has no control over Sketchup & 3DS max navigation, however some unity across chaos products would be extremely welcome. I find anima particularly clunky to navigate in the viewport.

Enscape is by far the easiest - please could you implement the same kind of navigation keybindings/shortcuts, or at least options for users to choose which method they prefer across all products?

Hi, is there a specific reason why you are using Vantage in your workflow rather than Envision? Envision can be set to use Enscape navigation style (Edit > Preferences > Navigation Preset: Enscape).

Primarily because we don’t have Envision.

I never really understood the differences between them/why they both exist. Vantage appeared to give us greater “granular” ability to control things back when the decision to go with it was made.

But that’s a separate issue…
