I’ve noticed a couple of times now that updating an autocad file via file link in viz 2007 w/ Vray 1.5 rc2 and rc3, has caused some of the objects to have a ‘global’ material applied to them as file linking completes. This only happens to the objects in the .dwg, any object that I added within viz retains it’s material. Anyone else notice this?
You probably need to check “Use scene material assignments on Reload” under the Advanced tab on the Reload Options dialog.
That was it, thanks. I just checked some older scenes and I never had that box checked before and never had problems on reload. Weird.
