I’m having trouble setting up my scene using the deafult camera. All the renderings, no matter the type of the deafult camera, come out completely over-exposed (white), so if anyone could help me up with some tips on what to do, i would be very grateful. I know i have to change something with the physical sky in GI and background, i’m just not sure how and what to do.
The scene i’m trying to render out is an interior shot of a cube, and i want to get as much of an area in the render as i can. For example i want to create the feeling of a security camera in one of the upper corners of the cube. To capture as much as possible.
Have you adjusted your shutter speed, aperture? They control how much light gets into the space.
The longer the lens stays open the more light is allowed in. (camera)
And vis versa. Play around with those and i think you may get some results. If not please post a pic. It will get you the answer you need much quicker
The reason you get all white image is due to over exposure.
You can fix it in two ways:
1. Use physical camera - adjust the camera’s exposure.
2. decrease sun’s/light source intensity.
thank you for your suggestion 40th, but even if i decrease the intensity of the light source, the image is still over exposed. I’ve tried something with rectangular light and the results are better, but i still want to be able to use physical sun if it’s possible. Any other ideas how to achieve that?
You are using VraySun right? Because it has very high intensity compared to every other light you’ll have to decrease it’s intensity and multiplier a LOT.
