Hi guys!
So, whenever I have SKU and Enscape running, and I try to edit something that lies within a group or component, as soon as I double click it and enter the group, that entire group flies over to another location.
I’ve tried exploding items, and also cutting and pasting in place, nothing has worked thus far.
I has become increasingly frustrating to have to re-export the geometries every time a client wants to change anything on the fly.
Any suggestions are welcome.
Thanks!

If you re-load Enscape all the geometry will all jump back where it should be.
Yes this is exactly it! I have the latest Enscape and Sku…Having this happen while showcasing the model to clients is a big no no.
I hope they figure out where the glitch is. My models are 500mb+ and reloading them isn’t a quick thing.
Hey @THIAGO_1 , could you please install our latest preview and try to reproduce this issue?
To install our latest preview:
→ Head into the about window by clicking the About button → Click Visit download area → Click on the hyperlink right in the first sentence below our Download button → Now that you’re on our preview page, just click Download → You now have our latest preview which you can simply install, as it will overwrite your existing latest release.
Thanks a lot in advance.
The re-load is much quicker than the initial loading (even on large models). The exploded geometry only happens when you do stuff in the model, so as long as you don’t change anything during the presentation you should be OK. There also seems to be a build-up of actions before it happens; if you have freshly loaded the model and don’t have too many geometry changes to demonstrate live then you should be OK.
(I have never had a problem setting up layers and scenes for presenting various options.)
Hi guys,
The problem was solved with the latest preview!
When do we get an update?!
Thanks!
I might be missing something. When you say reload, do you mean close enscape and re-export, or is there a button I can press somewhere?
The latest preview fixed the issue, but I might have to install the latest release to avoid other potential bugs.
Click on the “Start Enscape” button again. (Shouldn’t have to come out of SU)
Hey @THIAGO_1 , glad to hear that our latest preview resolved your problem.
We plan to release Enscape 2.4 around October, but there is no specific ETA just yet.
