Fog color problem

Hi.

I have a scene with a batiment, and some glass.

To make the glass, I make as usually:
diffuse black
reflect to 240 white
refract too
affect shadow on in the refract,
and some fog color.

I usually use a lighr green.

In this case, it doesn’t work, i tried to up the saturation, and I finaly get some absoption with a full saturation on my green.
But it was too much.
and if I put the saturation on 254 instead 255, there is no more absoption, and playing with the fog multiplier do nothing, with a value of 0,001 it was the same.

Have you got any idea?

Thanks?

im having the smae problem with my fog… i also would like to tint the reflections my boss is not liking how the glass reflects back a bluie sky when he keeps complaining its green glass.. he is na architect… so i think he wants the mysterious glass that all architects want in renderings

Julien, what are your system/display units in 3ds Max?

I can’t seem to adjust saturation of intensity either. Also when I go from green to blue, it only allows for specific values. For example, I’ll enter 117 for hue, click okay, then return and it snaps back to 128. Any ideas why it’s so picky? I need to dial back neon green ASAP and I’m starting to pull my hair out.

Try to restart 3ds Max; I don’t think this has anything to do with VRayMtl specifically.

Very weird. I fixed the issue with fog multiplier, but the hue is still snapping. Is there any way to darken it possibly?

Yes, increase the fog multiplier more than 1.0.
