Looks fantastic. Any shots of the main stand? I’m aware of this project myself, so I’m curious to see how the design plans to use the existing structure which has been on-site since 2014?
I think that is still a topic of debate at the minute as to how that is done, im just helping with a few schemes and visuals but ultimately the club will have to decide along with the architects. Probably whole lot cheaper to demolish original stand and create a new one.
Thanks for the reply, that all makes sense. Eight years or so of that existing structural work being exposed to the elements in Donegal would take it’s toll. I’m really interested to see how this progresses, along with the new Dalymount Park plans and intentions to renovate Tolka Park in Dublin. Would be great for the progression of Irish football and the de-centralisation of football on the east coast. It’s brilliant seeing Enscape being used for all of these projects, I think the Tolka Park renovation visuals were produced with it too. It shows how intuitive the software is.
Yeah i think it would have been best to pull the structure down and cheaper to do it from scratch. I also am helping out with Dundalks redevelopment, initital concept designs. Enscape has been brilliant addition for most id say, I only get to use it the odd time, as its time consuming producing a 3d model as im sure you know, I only do these as an extra side project to help people out, Id love to do it full time but am running a construction firm unfortunantley. Being able to add a stadium full of people would really bring it to life or add lots of supporters walking and using facilities, but I just havnt got the time to figure out how to create that. Building the model is easy part, making it look good is the more time consuming part, but I thoroughly enjoy it all
