Hey,
the new Foregrounds/Backgrounds approuch is really not thought through very well.
By default all images in F/B are influenced by the adjustment layers like the filmic tonemap.
The workaround a found is to put the adjustment layers in a folder and change the folders blending mode to normal:
This is far from intuitive and is still limited. I might want to have the background images influenced by my adjustment layers but not my foreground images.
This was possible in the 7.2 version, where we could move the background image freely and set them to foreground / background individually.
To give us full controll I would like to propose a new feature:
1. Let us arrange F/B folders freely, so we can move them above the adjustments.
This would solve most cases, but will still not solve some extreme cases like: I have birds in my Foreground Folder that I want to influenced by my LUT adjustment and also have a watermark that I don´t want to be influenced.
2. Possibilty to add additional Foreground and Background Folders & let us arrange them freely
This would even solve some extreme cases as mentioned above.
