Sounds like a render-time marching cube algo, the borders of the fluid surface don´t look that clean.
btw, any news about Aura?

But it sounds interesting!
Hope we will see more from Chaos soon…
robert
impressive pictures…
but hey.. this is scanline code.. not cebas.
And wasn´t cebas the first company who started screemed,
“our renderer is capable of rendering.. blablabla count of polys”
however.. lol
I wasn´t pointing fingers at anybody´s product. I just find it impressive that an external company (well, actually I don´t know how closely related scanline is to “Seabus”) can come up with something as specialised as a plugin for fR that seems to introduce a form of render primitive. I wish we would see similar endevours from vray users, in case this is even possible with the current state of the Vray SDK.
It seems that us chaos-groupies are not even capable of recompiling Simcloth for max6, not to mention writing such a render-plugin.
Where did all the coders go? Is everybody working for M$ these days?
Stefan
stefan,
be patient and you’ll see it being done with vray as well… ![]()
Thx Nuts, you give me hope
Do you just hope as well or is it profound knowledge that makes you write such statements :?:
Anyway, nice holidays and guten Rutsch ins neue Jahr
Stefan
hey stefan,
let’s say it’s an educated guess! ![]()
But enough of this ‘X-File’ talk..!
as edwin alias “seabus” says:
>Merry Christmas and a successful New Year<
what are you guys talking about?
the link points me to the cebas frontpage. ![]()
Sorry John, seems to be gone now. Can´t find it either.
Stefan
I think they’re talking about this:
