It’s not my website and not my HDRI’s but for all of you that don’t know about this site:
Completely free (there is a possibility to become a Patron on Patreon).
Maps are great: UNCLIPPED, available from 1k to 16k each. No login required.
It works great with Corona renderer:)
This would be awesome, but when I try to load these in a CoronaBitmap I get an error saying something about “Can’t load: RADIANCE missing in header”. Any way around that?
You should make bug report with offending HDR image attached. If it’s bug in CoronaBitmap, it should be fixed.
use regular max’s bitmap instead.
Can you at least say what HDRI gave you an error? I tried one, but it loads just fine.
I tried “pond_bridge_night_4k.hdr” and “waterbuck_trail_8k.hdr” (I don’t have links, sorry, just checked my downloads folder). But I’m still on 1.5.2 if that makes any difference.
I also got errors with few of this maps, but only with maps that are lower than 16k.
“pond_bridge_night_4k.hdr” was exactly the same file i tried yesterday without any issues with 1.7 RC8, i’ll try “waterbuck” and if it’ll load fine, then it probably will be safe to assume, that whatever issue was in 1.5, it is fixed now.
What version of Corona did you try with?
EDIT: “waterbuck_trail_8k.hdr” loads and renders without issue too.
