This is the first time i used background pictures and a lot of materials in the model. I think it came out pretty good. Also made a few materials myself. Also a new thing. And off course the beautifull rug from the let’s make a rug tutorial!
Is there someone who can advice me over how i can adjust the light in the room, but keep the shadow lines. Can i better use a rectangular light withlight or daylight coming threw or is there another solution?
for the shadows: have you tried the sunlight from the vray toolbar? set that up and then switch off your shadows in the visopt>GIsunlight options, it gives you the same sun but lets you control the angle
edit: on second read not sure if it got that correct. want better lights add some spot or point lights within the space and tamper with the intensity till it looks good
you have a nice space there aimer. just increase the level of your render engine. its a bit noisy especially the shadows. also the chair in the third image has wrong texture project. use the projected texture option in su.
The texture of the chair is not correct, indeed! Right now i am working on a laptop and doing all the renders on that laptop so this is why the resolution is not optimal. I am allready amazed with what is possible on this laptop. Only it does take some time to render, but probably if i am getting better at it it is worth to invest in better hardware.
I tried using another notebook for distributed rendering, but everytime it started rendering it gave an error and stopped rendering. I can’t recall the error at this moment, but i will look it up, maybe that someone has a solution.
