share old renders :saint:
I love the style of this render, though I think the Porsche might be going too fast lol. This intense motion blur may be hurting the overall composition more than it is helping. The style you are portraying with the background is close to a craftsmen water color painting and has an “island vibe” to it. With the architecture complementing this idea as well, maybe the Porsche 911 Carrera becomes a convertible Porsche Cabriolet in a tan or silver driving a bit slower. It will still add the presence of motion but would give a sense of the the relaxation of the residence in the community and depending on the pastel color chosen it can add a splash of color to the image and make the image more pleasing too look it.
Hi agawrys12 . Thank you for your comment
I edited this render, hope you like it
These are gorgeous! Massive improvement all three of these renders are show stoppers! I especially like the first and third one as the camera angles give the sense of movement and it reads extremely well, these deserve to be considered for render of the week! Put a logo watermark on them and I would assume you made a living off of rendering. Though a very nit picky thing would be in the second image with it being a typical elevation shot, it now feels very frozen in time. Unfortunately I am struggling to find a photo to convey how to improve with the car on the road, but I think it may need a subtle blur. Or for it to relocated to the curb so it is implied to be parked. The other 2 images have no question of movement but as a very tiny critique to that second image I think either of these options could benefit the composition. Though as I have said all three are beautiful renders and could be classified as “final” and “high quality” in their current state, great job on these!
a great suggestion, i changed render 1 to your liking and i think render 3 is kept to see the material of the car clearly
These look amazing! They also show off your technical ability in both composition and detail, especially with everything being in direct light. Render 3 looks perfect, the contrast between the car and architecture makes for such a nice render!
thanks a lot
Thanks a lot @Dsmall , I have a new desktop background now! Really great work and nice to see the improvements you’ve made to already great renderings. ![]()
If you haven’t already, give our latest preview a try too as well since we’ve improved upon the reflection quality and global illumination (indirect lighting) which should help to improve the scene even further.
Thank you, I will update and experience it right away
Congratulations @Dsmall ! I’m excited to hereby tell you that you’ve won last week’s RotW contest.
Keep up the great work and thanks for continuously sharing your renderings with the community!
thanks you Demian Gutberlet and Thanks for your comment agawrys12 ![]()
