percy, i like wht you have done, my only question is do the (reactor) balls interact with displaced material? it almost appears to in your animation but i cant make it out.

haha its my little secret. no just kidding, i stick little proxy objects aligned with the diamond plate texture. the displacement was used only for the render.

cheater! I was hoping it would work, but i guess displacement only occurs during the actual render, maybe one day it will work properly!
