Hey, your results are very nice already! What kind of help do you need?
If, like you said, it’s ANY advice, then may I suggest that you make the jewel small in a large studio setup (personally, I prefer the dark one) and place it in a corner. Then maybe place something else (in association with the product) in the opposite corner, far away, and play with DOF. I believe this kind of composition will show the jewels preciousness.

i think the gold needs to be more orangy yellow i think … yeah ive also played with that model…

to achieve gold, play with the colour of your reflect slot…keep the diffuse colour darker. the reflect colour will determine your ‘gold’ shader…like real gold
