Was looking for a 2018 Ivy plugin update on Guruware’s site to find out that he has decided to stop updating and even sharing his plugin.

I totally understand his frustration and motivation for this decision, but I certainly will miss this tool.
Just hoping that he’s gonna release it commercially at some point.
Whilst I can understand his frustrations I think he should have actually made it a commercial plugin. Shame it’s not continuing.
Well, that sucks. I am not sure if I ever donated, but I do most of the time. Having said that, I would have gladly purchased it.

What a banana, he just needs to change the donate button to a buy button and it is sorted.
I emailed him to tell him I feel funny about ‘donations’ and would pay whatever price to buy it.

I`ve never used it myself but it`s never good to lose a plugin people rely on. Removing it from all the people that use it because of a couple of idiots seems like rather a bad decision made in haste. Next time set a minimum donation price, that way you won`t be able to tell the jokers from the decent donators.
That’s what I told him - why punish everyone due to a few idiots !
He needs to redesign his website a little, make the Donate/Buy button bigger, move it to be more prominent etc etc. - shouldn’t be hard for someone of his programming skills 
Who knows maybe someone pressed the wrong button and meant to leave 1 or 10 dollars and all this is just a misunderstanding ? Unless someone left a sarcastic comment of course.
Just send $25. Might be too late, but hey, it is worth a try to keep to keep it alive.

Hey, trying to trump me? Good, maybe he’ll be encouraged to keep developing his plugin. I don’t know, there are other benefits to him other than monetary. People going to his site to download a free plugin gives him Google cred.
I sent him $50 and didn’t get anything for it 
ended up finding it:
Making commercial usually doesn’t make meaningful money. IT shows up in CGP in a few a day.
Also as soon as it becomes commercial, users feels more entitled because they paid.
That’s causes a lot more “support” then you earn.
Being a commercial plugin developer is not easy as you think.
