Mine all of sudden stopped working, so I go see if there is an update. No update, just a page wanting $200. I know NIX was purchased, but come on!
Just the main page has a redirect. I clicked a subpage and I was able to download it; let’s see if a reinstall will fixe what is broke
Used mine today (hadn’t for a long time) and it was working fine.
I purchased mine years ago (I think you did too, no ?) - so they ain’t getting my money twice !
maybe yesterday?s NVidia update broke it. The main works, it?s one of the extra ones;I forget what it is called.
It is the Silver Efex Pro that doesn’t work anymore. I am so tired up driver updates breaking software. This was never the case earlier in computer history.
Okay, it seems to work, but it is really slow. I ran it on an image and instead of canceling it, I wrote the previous post and by the time I went back to PS, it loaded and worked. Color Efex is just as slow, but it has a loading bar, which Silver Efex doesn’t have. It’s taking my images about a minute to load when it was instant.
Bobby, I noticed similar very slow behaviour for the first time when setting my viewport background as visible to the Environment Map slot - and this was around the same time as I updated to those latest NVidia drivers earlier this week. I think it could well be related to that.
It seems NVIDIA is the common denominator for a lot of software issues.
Google Chrome started acting up real bad at the same time too - things like videos wouldn’t play in YouTube, images would be missing off of online news sites… again, all at the same time as that update. Seems to have settled now.
