I just got a new all in one PC and loaded VRay and Rhino and it worked right away. I had the old machine on at the time. Well I wiped clean the hard drive of the old machine and after that VRay does not work on the new machine. I pressed a couple of buttons trying to activate the license but nothing happened. Any advice would be helpful. I could also go back to the dongle if necessary. Thanks!

If yes - does http://localhost:30304 loads in your browser? If it does - try logging in with your username / password - https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/…tup-Activation
Yep that got it. I had not installed it correctly.
