I heard Maya is using the GPU to assist in rendering. Anyone know about that?

it does…mostly for particle effects though

As im sure you all know now anyway, mental ray 3.3 is using GPU’s for final rendering, well thats what the rumors are on nvidia’s site however its still a bit unclear.
