GPU light cache

Hi.
I’m getting this error when I add more objects to the project to render, any ideas how to solve it? Thanks.

Hello @craveiro ,

It might be that you don’t have enough VRAM to render the scene. Could you please monitor your VRAM consumption (you can use an external tool, such as GPU-Z) and see if you have enough memory to render the scene. Also, please make sure to install the recommended NVIDIA driver for V-Ray GPU which is version 497.09.

You can also check this article, where you can find information about memory usage optimizations for GPU rendering.

I hope this is of help.

Hello @craveiro ,

Would you mind sharing the scene with all assets for it (go to File> Save Project with Assets) so I can have a look? You can send me the scene in DM. Thank you.

I have sent you a private message, confirm if you received please. Thank you.

Hello @craveiro ,

I can confirm that I have received your scene. I will have a look at it and will get back to you with more information. Thanks.

Ok, thanks for help.

Hello @craveiro ,

I have tested the scene on a machine with a very powerful GPU with loads of VRAM and it needed almost 8 GB of memory to render the scene. As your GPU has 6 GB of VRAM, it runs out of memory and this is why it fails to render. Please check the article, linked in my post above to find tips on how to optimize your scene for GPU rendering.

Thank you.

Thank you @aleksandar.kasabov for all the help, I take this opportunity to congratulate you on the support you give, it is very important to know that there is someone on the team always ready to help our work flow.

Hello @craveiro ,

Thank you for your feedback.
