It’s uploading atm…
You got me!
Cheers Jez on both counts!
I’m experiencing some issues with quality.
Obviously noise is a pixel to pixel issue so any filtering smooths it out.
I’m re-rendering the video with different settings in the hopes it solves it!
I don’t know what quality you are aiming at but h.264 as codec is usually pretty solid.
everyone subscribed has been sent lesson 1-
Thanks for the patience guys.
Haven’t gotten mines
Just watched your first video - absolutely fantastic.
Seriously. Just from watching it I already learnt a lot.
I’m going to rewatch and play with this over the next few days, and hopefully take a serious look at applying this to my next project, which actually is a nice easy one.
Well, well, done and thanks for all this great effort ![]()
Yes. I downloaded and watched it, too. Great stuff, and I am looking forward to more. One thing… you mentioned checking, “Use Glossy Rays for Light Cache” and you always check it, but can you explain why? I think, at least for me, I need to know why something is done.
It’s the one listed here - The lovely Jerome made the function better to work with nested vray materials - http://forums.chaosgroup.com/showthread.php?54547-About-noise-in-general&p=551169#post551169
Probably an obvious question…but have you subscribed?
I can’t keep up with emails / forum user names to real names atm!
Nice video, explains everything very clearly.
Now if only I had seen this before spending hours upon hours reading forum threads, dmc sampler explanations and doing tons of testing and figuring it out on my own ![]()
Could’ve saved a lot of time an nerves…
Anyway - A+
this stuff should be included with each purchase of Vray!
Why the hell this was not explain so clearly from Day 1?
Just hope it will remain as clear with DMC and other setup on the next video.
+1 with this idea
Nice work! Really good video.
Thanks for the feedback!
I’m extremely happy it’s so positive
We are only just getting started though, there is a LOT of advanced stuff to get into. hahaha
amazing
that video is worth the price of admission alone
im looking forward to getting to work and explaining this approach!
Yep a great watch! Thanks, Grant. I’m really glad I’ve gotten on board with this.
cheers!
Don’t have anything to say what hasn’t been said yet about the first video. Good stuff.
