I have been a little out of touch with this lately. What are the most recent stable drivers for the Nvidia GTX and Nvidia Quadro cards? The last known working driver for me was 270.61.
Thanks.

James, if you are running the latest version of Vray, then the 290.36 drivers are your best bet, at least for the 5-series GTX cards (not sure about the Quadros).
There have been a few uploads of new Vray 2.2 builds in the last couple of days so it might make sense for you to download the current version up there, install the nVidia 290.36 drivers, do the recompile (caution: takes longer and uses more RAM) and see what you get. Everything is working perfectly here with those steps.
Hope this helps,
-Alan
Like Alan said, the 290.xx drivers work well for the GTX. For the Quadro, I think the current drivers are older generation (276.xx) and don’t seem to work as well unfortunately (but then again, I haven’t tested extensively).
Best regards,
Vlado
Yes Quadro 400 I am using driver 275.89 ( recommend by Autodesk ) and VRAY RT CPU crashed a lot randomly !!!
Machine with Win7 24cores Intel I7 and 24Gb of ram.
Just with a simpel sphere and nothing else.
Very very fustraiting not being able iof using RT at all with this machine.
Any ideas , will this be better on the next realse ?
Thanks,
Alex.
That would be odd as the CPU version doesn’t require any assistance from the graphics card. Is that on any scene, or some scene in particular?
Best regards,
Vlado
Yes sure, anyway I really want to get this running smoothly, have you seen any bug regarding random crashes, I am in teh middle of a huge production cant test thinks but again this is slowly us a lot. Any suggestions.
Thanks
Alex.
No, so unfortunately I don’t have any ready suggestions for you. Did this ever work with a previous version of V-Ray on the same machne?
Best regards,
Vlado
