The GTX is better.. and therefore more expensive. The GTS has less memory either 320 or 640 and is abit slower. Even still I imagine a GTS would be enough. Best to go for the 640MB version or even the GTX if your budget can stretch that far 
However that being said I would be suprised if you could tell the difference in the max viewport between the GTS and the GTX
