Why am i getting green spots. All materials are vray materials and are Blinn.
Im useing light cache and QMC.
try using iradiance map and light cache. see if that helps
jacksc02 i am useing light cache and IR Map. Still get the splotches
have you tried putting a global override material on everything to see if its a geometry problem?
What is your secondary rays bias set to?
here is a image with the vray overide no green splotches.
here is a image with the vray overide no green splotches.
Here is one with materials and glossy turned off
im still getting green splotches.
secondary ray bias set to default of 0.0
looks like a problem with the curved panel material. try putting a flat white material on it
now thier red spots
killed all materials associated with the panels and re-created them…red splotches again. All geometry associated with them have uvw map’s on them.
what version of vray are you using?
How are you lighting the scene ? ..
gadzooks, if you want, you can send me an email - I can get you a newer build that will most likely solve your problem.
Best regards,
Vlado
jacksc02 im running the current build.
natty im using vraylights in all the windows with a direct light for the sun.
useing QMC 1st bounce Light Cache for the second bounce.
Vlado i sent you my email to your PM account
These i believe are related to glossy effects and even when you are using blinn instead of ward, i hope its fixed in the new release. If you play around with your glossiness and subdiv settings you might be able to get rid of them but not with the same results you had in mind.
