.gsm Archicad libraries download

Hi,

I’m a BIM manager at an architecture studio and we are looking to download .gsm Archicad versions of Enscape assests so we can have them hosted externally to our files. Currently if user downloads an asset from enscape it is saved in the embeded library of a project, meaning it is being stored in the project file itself (pln or teamwork). This increases the file size. Perhaps not significantly but it multiplies. We would be looking to download the whole Enscape library in .gsm format so we can make it part of our standard studio Library if possible.

This also opens up other possibilities for us as our team uses Rhino and Grasshopper to place and manipulate Enscape objects.

We currently could save .gsm files out of the embeded library but the problem is manually placing each of the 2766 objects to have all of the contents.

Hi There i hace the same problem. I don’t wont to save the assets and thetexturesin a lokal projekt. And the ohter thing is: When i download a material, i havt to wait a long time, because Archicad is reload the bib every time for each material downloaded. Do we have a solution since now?

The Problem was that i used a onedrive Folder. But the assets are still saved in the embeddet folder of Archicad, but this ist fast, and i can cancel them, archicad needs only the asset library to find them.

Can you explain one more time what to do to avoid long waiting for downloading textures?
