The title describes it all. Is there a connection between as it was in v-ray 2?
Hi Fer,
thank you for the video. Some questions - how can be controlled the visibility (camera, diffuse, specular, reflections)? How can it be connect to a dome light for more features?

Right now the only think you could do is to make the background visible or invisible. You have to type the command “visRhinoEnvironmentSync” and you will found the options to do it.
Sounds like a step back from v2. Could be nice to connect a dome light to the Rhino env.

Micha, we changed the way how we support HDR light studio due a request of the HDR light studio guys. We are actually using a dome light behind the scene to hooked the Rhino environment and we may be able to add some of the dome light option in a future.
Many thanks for the video. It would take me forever to find it because i was not using enviroment tab in rhino even once.
That was it. Thanks Fernando.
Sounds promising. ![]()
One more question - I can’t install v3 for testing at the moment - is there a way to disconnect/connect to HDRLS at different Rhino tasks like at v2?

This is not possible at this point. In V3 we are using the HDRLS workflow and UI. So, we are getting in contact with the HDRLS guys to see if they could add that option in the UI.
Good luck, it’s an important feature for pro users.
They said that it is a good idea and they will include it on their to do list
Thank you.
