There are lots of free HDRI files avaliable on the web, start your journey in the center of the HDRI universe here: http://www.debevec.org/

thx for reply dave, i know this link, but i dont think that hdri probe from inside cathedrale/basilica nor ufizzi/kitchen would help for exterior reflexion :slight_smile:

i was just wondering if someone would have a simple skyline hdri map (with sun and clouds maybe) that give good result for this kind of rendering…

For animations Im stuggling with trying to find a HDRI to use both for reflection and the background…I’m stuck on the same problem as the original poster.

Dosche hdri’s are nice but the ‘sand’ at the bottom makes the glass reflection black when the camera target moves lower than the camera position. This isnt the bext for animations i’ve found. How do you guys deal with this? do you edit the HDRI so there is more sky?..or…

map a normal panoramic image onto a curved wall surrounding the project?

or… do you guys go on site with a cherrypicker, and take a proper 360 background photo and use that as your reflection/background? (and maybee HDRI)

the dosche ones are good but yeah, theres got to be better
