“HDRI Map locked - not loading”
what does this error message mean?
im using the latest demo an try to render a scene with HDRI and displacement.
i get this error message and the render has some bright splotches.
im using 50 hemisphere samples and the medium irradiance map preset.
???
ok forget that problem with “hdri map locked”!
i drag and drop the wrong map. :roll: 
but now with the correct .HDR file i still get some strange effects on my displaced ground box.
there are black splotches now where i had bright splotches before. :?:
and on regions where i have shadows, it looks like the displacement is much bigger then it should be.
The message simply means that the HDRI is already in memory, and isn’t being loaded from disk again. Just ignore it.

lol…i was about to ask that question…
you would wish that instead of “Notlaoding” it would be written “Already Loaded” as to avoid misunderstandings. :roll:
