Hdri simple setup

Hi

I’ve been away from vray for some years now, using other renders. But thought it was time to give vray a try again.

My first issue, I can’t figure out how to setup a simple hdri lightning. I’ve added a dome light added a hdri texture but the scene is just pure black.

Im using the lastest version of both sketchup and vray.

Adjust the dome light intensity, and the camera exposure as well..

thanks for the reply. just to make sure - is adding a domelight the right way to add hdri’s to a scene? or should one use the sun / enviroment map somehow instead?

You can add hdri by using dome light and changing the default hdri, or use sun light and add hdri from environment - background section.. You can find tutorials on youtube.. Search sketchup vray dome light or sketchup vray hdri..
