Help me choose best CPU for corona render

I have 3 choices, which one is the best for corona render?

1- Threadripper 3950x
2- The new Ryzen 9 5950x
3- Intel i9 10900k

In reply to “How to choose” one of the best ways is to use the Benchmark results (plus run the Benchmark on your current machine, to see how much better those new ones would be). You can search by CPU on Benchmark Results | Corona Renderer

I might have misread the poll :- ) The first is mistake, should it say Threadripper 3960X or Ryzen 3950X.

Ryzen 5950X is much better than Ryzen 3950X. With Threadripper, the 3960X it’s tie. 5950X has much faster IPC (and thus single-core) but Threadripper is quad-channel platform and has 24 cores.
