The vray.exe DOS window is open, it says it’s waiting for render requests on port 20206.
Activeshade is doing nothing, just “Waiting for image data…”
I am sure vray.exe is running only once. (Checked task manager)
Till yesterday everything works fine, today it just broke down.
Rebooting Windows does not help.
It’s acting as if 3dsmax and VrayRt aren’t seeing each other.
Where can I set the comunications port 3dsmax is sending his requests to?
I need help, VrayRT just does not work anymore.
sending my scene to other distributed clients works
only my vray rt doesn’t work anymore
other collegues sending me a vray rt dr job works also, rendering on my VrayRT server
only my own damn 3dsmax 2009 doesn’t even start a vrayRT DOS window
my 3dsmax 2010 starts a DOS window but halts just after it, VrayRT waiting for render request
I am getting MAD here
Uninstalling + reboot + reinstalling every VrayRT version (2009, 2010) does the thing
Working again for now.

I am having this issue to. Dos window is gone, just says waiting for image data. I guess its a reinstall 
I reinstalled like he did and still hanging on waiting for image data… pls help
Prob solved, didnt have the auto start checked.
