Would u pls tell me how to make these chrome reflection materials and Those shadows with reflection on the plane and what lights should I use. I would really appricate ur help and thanks in advance.

BTW I have taken the screen shots from the site www.whoswestudios.com

Well, when it comes to chrome or metal, its pretty simple.

You need:

1) A grey diffuse color
2) Reflections set to about 75% grey
3) A little bit of glossiness in the reflections (.9 or so)
4) A good environment for reflections and/or lighting

looks like 90%of that renderings look comes from that environment map

Thanks a lot Dynedain and Da_elf for giving me some directions. I will try this out and post my results.

Thanks again guys

Alternatively, try this chrome setting:

1) Diffuse black
2) Reflection HSV value 0,0,245
3) Fresnel โ€œoffโ€
4) IOR 2.97

make sure you use an HDR for reflections
