is there a way to stop hidden vraylights showing up in reflective materials?

Like ene.xis said, there is an option for separately controlling the visibility of V-Ray lights in reflections in the VRayLight properties.

oh dear.
how embarrasing! has that option always been there?
why would you want the reflections of a vray light to show up when you’ve hidden the light?
on another note - i don’t seem to be getting notifications when a topic i’m subbed to has a reply…
No idea… but people wanted it, so there it is 
Joke aside, it is useful mostly when you have e.g. a studio setup, where you want to get nice reflections to show the shape of an object, but you don’t want to see the actual lights by the camera.
