Finally managed to finish a new portfolio project during this Lock-down and thought I would share it with everyone
I came across the architecture of Irving Gill during my travels in America walking past Horatio Court (completely by accident) and thought it would be fun to try and re-create and try to capturing the “LA vibe”.
The colors are great! Very prominent, yet still so photographic. The texture on the walls, I think, help emphasize the great lighting. Love everything about this!

The lighting is super basic, for the day shots its a Corona sun and sky and the evening is a HDRI from NoEmotion.
I tend to go between different views adjusting all the object materials with colour corrects until everything starts to sit nicely together. I find that makes a big difference and not so much the lighting setup
