I’m currently trying out an small house surrounded by nature. I still need to texture the house (wood),model some interior and fix color variation in the trees. More smaller plants r needed too ![]()
Are those Birch trees?
Maybe you could add some variation on the bark as well. ![]()
Why is the tree in the front getting wider towards the top? Is it planted upside down? ![]()
Other than that and the things mentioned above, pretty cool, I like the grass!
Yes it is birch tree..@Ciroc Currently I only have two different bark textures.. I guess I need to put more variation.,.hehe.. @maru Wider u mean the trunk? Cause my reference I picked from this image.. http://thumbs.dreamstime.com/z/birch-trees-winter-2170700.jpg.. as u can see the angle between the two trunks r getting wider at the top..thnks for the feedback ![]()
I meant the brown tree which is close to the camera.
I think the tree trunk in the foreground is actually forked into 2. The outline of the trunks is quite indistinct though, so it looks like a single trunk.
It maybe needs some work to make the form more apparent.
oh, you are probably right
I guess i need to convert them into metamesh for better attachment..cause now they r only cilinders attached at each other
The only problem with the tree in the foreground is that it is distracting because of the odd shape. Regarding the texture, you can do a couple of them with just white bark.
would love to see a detail shot of the grass. And see how you built it a little more
great job
Will do @danielmn ![]()
Yes, but it would be wrong
Grass grows away from gravity and doesn´t care about normals. You can adjust scatter objects behaviour regarding normal direction with the “Direction” slider in “Surface” rollout.
Good Luck!
Thnks @frood..im taking my time with the greeneries XD
