How can I deal with clients online? No Skype, no MSN what else is there?

Hi all :face_with_spiral_eyes:

Skype seems like a logical choice to me however I recenlty came across some companies that just refuse to use any chat clients. It is against their corporate/IT policy and it won’t change. They do however have the old fashioned video converencing with 3 ISDN lines, a flatscreen, and a fancy camery/mic. This is a bit of a costly solution to me. Is there any way I can use my pc/internet to communicate with this old fashioned video conferencing system? Alternatively what other IT solutions could I use? Something like a VPN or those kinds of things?

I used it once where i just to work…for conference calls is better if you work with known companies like microsoft, adobe, etc…corporates and ITs like to work with them instead to install something that may mess their network.

This looks interesting. The free version looks cool although it is hosted by adobe. The purchase version is cool, many features I will never use, and expensive. Also it is either hosted or use your own servers. My stuff is not as advanced. If my clients didn’t go for Skype, I’m not sure if they would go for something like this. (which I will have to pay for for them)

they have pay-per-use plan…i think that you should charge your expenses to them…1 hour meeting is around $38..or I would charge your time per meeting and you pay it.

go to meeting’s not bad:

and there’s basecamp project management:

also sort of interesting, but not for everyone file transfer:

soooo easy to set up..

online collaboration app.

works great with speakerphone/conference calls and also has a built-in chat box.

i’ve had some good fun with this :

upload your image, send url to client and watch him go nuts with comments
