how can i make pure white walls?

Hi.I’m a new Vray for SU user.I modeled a simple room in SU for testing Vray. The walls are pure white and the floor tiling is blue. After rendering i got the walls a little bluish. That’s not the result that i want to achieve exactly. What’s the solution? I’ve heard that we could control it in Vray 1.5 for 3DSMax with “VrayoverrideMtl” option.
I’m looking forward to your suggestions…

Re: how can i make pure white walls?

do you have a screenshot ?
Actually, it seems consistent to the blue leak on the walls due to the radiosity..

In real life, pure white hardly exists

Re: how can i make pure white walls?

The blue hint on the walls is normal, even in the real world. VfMax does have something called an override material that will help with that. We’ll see if we get that in the SR. As far as taking care of it, what you can do is calculate all of your illumination (Irradiance Maps and LC) with a white material. Save those maps and reload them. Then change the material back to the blue tile and render.
