how do you manage project folder and render presets?

I usually set a different project folder for each different project and then, going on with renders, I create specific render presets for draft and final (based on general draft and final ones) storing them in the render preset folder specific for that project; the issue is that every presets appends its name on the drop down list, ending with a very long and not useful list (I know I can clear that list deleting lines in .ini file but it’s no so handy).
After that confusing description the final question is:

is there a way to avoid that every new preset append its name to the drop down list?

There are several scripts out there to handle this sort of thing. Some of them are easily customized.

For the pre-sets you can look into SolidRocks utility.

thanx 4 your suggestions but,
what I’m actually looking for is something not strictly related to a specific engine and able to store all the values included in the render dialog (not only the vray tab).

what aout SolidRocks, does it works well? are you using it in production? Testing the demo I had some problems with LWF and gamma? are they fixed?
