Set the sky type to CIE overcast. Set the sun at 12:00 mid day (directly above). Thanks so much for your response. Playing with it now and im getting decent results. What are your thoughts on using HDRIs for interiors? Skyportals? I avoid both of those due to longer rendering times but i see on some tutorials that many people do this. Maybe im too impatient Thanks again

A simple dome light with a colour temperature of ~6000k - 7500k will generally. Adjust the camera white balance accordingly.
