How to accurately control the angle of the sun

How to accurately adjust the time data of sunlight angle through the input number adjustment

At Rhino you can use the Rhino sun controls, maybe at the other packages it is the same and you can use the native sun control of the host software.

Same in SU

OK, I see

SketchUp has a little bit less flexibility than Revit/Rhino (and soon ArchiCAD) because there is no way to define the sun via azimuth/altitude. In general you should provide the correct geolocation in your CAD for correct sun position.

So just to clarify the orbit of the Sun will match that as defined by geolocation inside Sketchup?

@Braikenridge In SketchUp, set geolocation, optionally set the solar north, and use the “Shadows” tray to set your time of year. Control the time of day either via the “Shadows” tray or directly in Enscape, both have the same effect. If you enable shadows in SketchUp, they should equal those in Enscape.
