We’ve aqcuired our first VR customer (interior design) that wants to show their drawings to customers via VR, drawings made in SketchUp.
We’ve ran into countless of issues as of yet, but most have been overcome.
One issue remains; the customer previously tested with an Oculus Rift set (discontinued as of now) and wit that setup VR was perfect.
As the Oculus was discontinued we contacted a local Enscape reseller and used this (https://enscape3d.com/community/blog/knowledgebase/using-virtual-reality-headset/) page to decide on the HTC Vive Cosmos. With this VR set, drawings remain blurry in Enscape.
We’ve tried so much that we don’t know where else we could search for a solution.

Tests done:
→ different drawings tested → same result
→ sent our drawing to other company that uses Enscape (with Laptop with lower specs and Oculus Rift (original)) → viewing in Enscape was fine according to user
→ DLSS turned off → improved results, but blurryness is still there
→ played with loads of rendering and resolution settings, but to no avail.
Customer also states that they find the headset hard to adjust to fit snugly to their faces. My own experience is that if you don’t really push this headset on your face, vision does indeed remain blurry. I’m just not sure this is the only cause of the blurryness and am asking for tips or helpful personal experiences.
Sadly we have no previous experience with VR (only personal, used in gaming) and are struggling to find the right settings for Enscape and SketchUp in this setting.
I’m starting to doubt the VR headset, as I’ve been reading up on this particular one and see a lot of issues with this model, especially with the headset not being close enough on the face and it having a very small sweet spot.
