How to correctly use VrayWireColor in Photoshop?

So I rendered out a WireColor element in order to fine tune the tones of different elements, something I’ve usually done by rendering the scene with 100% black materials apart from the desired object which is applied a vraylightmaterial so I get a decent B&W mask straight away. Now with WireColor I’m having a hard time selecting one of the colors without the edges getting jagged. So how to correctly select a colored element along with its antialiased edges to make a mask out of it?

Thats the problem with wirecolor, selections can’t be very accurate. As far as I know, if you need clean masks, you’ll have to use MultiMate elements or render individual masks.

I see. Well it was a quick test anyway  Thanks for the fast reply!

MultiMAtte works pretty good and if you want to spend some money then take a look at cebas psd manager, this plugin will render out your passes and mask into one psd file.
