How to do a hanging plant?-TAKE THIS LIKE A CHALLENGE!!

I want to do a hanging plant in 3d? how to do?
I´ve tried with Scatter,Parray and Spacing tool, it doesn´t work
It may be a hanging plant drop over a balcony.

Please answer me it´s important to me.

I have been using XFrog for the base mesh, then deleting the bits I dont want. This was only for a hanging vine style plant.
