How to install an earlier version of Enscape on my new PC

Hi Enscape Community,

I had Ensape Version 4.1 and sketchup Pro installed on my PC for about 8 months. I have since purchased a faster machine to run SketchUp and Enscape,

however I am battling to reinstall Enscape on my new PC. I am not very PC software literate, so not sure what I am doing wrong.

  1. Where do I find Enscape 4.1 to download on my new PC (I purchased 4.1 in May last year)

  2. How do I install it onto Sketchup ?

  3. Woulld Enscape not load at all if the License Server was not updated as per the notice ?

  4. I haven’t updated mine, can this still be done ?

I am sorry if I sound absolutely clueless. This is because I am, and not really sure who else to turn to for help.

Thanking you in advance.

Kind Regards,

Geraldine

Hi @geraldineschelin , welcome to our Forum!

Right away, you can always acquire the latest release of Enscape here.

This will allow you to install Enscape for either SketchUp or Revit, Rhino, ArchiCAD or Vectorworks. Feel free to also refer to our “First Steps” knowledgebase article here when it comes to installing Enscape. Usually after installing and trying to use Enscape you should receive a dedicated error message if the License Sever hasn’t been updated properly yet, if so, then please follow this brief guide here in order to update said License Server.

It is still entirely possible for you to fully make use of Enscape as long as your machine meets our system requirements.

If you still experience any issues thereafter though or if you have any additional questions please let me know. Just so you’re aware, for quick direct support you can also always reach out to the official support team as detailed here.

Hi @Demian_Gutberlet ,

Thank you so much for your reply.

  1. Do I not have to pay extra to upgrade to the latest version ?

  2. Yes my system requirements are more than adequate.

  3. My license server version is 6.2 so no upgrade is necessary.

  4. I see a few users have had problems with Windows 11 and Enscape. May that be the problem here ?

Well let me try the latest version and see how that goes

Thank you so much for your help!

@geraldineschelin , thank you as well for your response!

  1. No not at all

  2. I am using Windows 11 and Enscape myself but have not experienced any issues specifically related to W11, at least not with the latest release(s). If you do ever experience any problems what so ever you can always just submit a support report as detailed here and you’ll then be assisted soon thereafter!

Let me know if you have any additional questions.
