How to make a white studio scene?

Ive made several interior and exterior renders… but never a studio render…

how do you guys create those backgrounds where the background color mixes seamlessly with the white ground? What settings should I use?

If I render with only a white background and no ground, there wont be shadows on the ground and the scene looses realism… if I put a ground, its color gets different from the sky in the background…

Re: How to make a white studio scene?

look on asgvis website for the glass tutorial, its a studio setup

Re: How to make a white studio scene?

could also try changing the sky color to white, or not using the sun/sky and just using lights

Re: How to make a white studio scene?

in the feature downloads, I found no Glass Tutorial with a video or studio setup…

Re: How to make a white studio scene?

I have a studio setup I could share if you would like.

The first and the second video, show you how to create a studio setup (Realistic Glass In V-Ray for SketchUp Part 1 and 2). I think those are the videos to which Senator was referring.

Think of it how it would be done in a real studio. There won’t be any sky lights there.
For studio setups you can find lots of good info if you search for how photographers set up their studio environment - then recreate that studio in your model.
